Hi, I'm Neil Hartley. I run Domino Digital Marketing. We use advanced digital marketing techniques to generate leads for B2B tech companies.

My experience spans big corporate tech sales and marketing through to being a start-up CEO. In my 25 year career the landscape for tech sales and marketing has changed dramatically.

I began in a field sales role for on-premise software at a time when it was possible to interrupt your prospect's day with a well-crafted letter outlining how your solution could help them address a problem you'd just read about in the national press.

Fast forward to 2007 when I was hired as CEO of a SaaS start-up by which time the 'sales' process was firmly under the control of marketing. Our growth was driven using a blog and a content marketing strategy.

Today, it's a buyer's journey. A journey the buyer will have almost completed before the first contact with your company. We've moved from being sales-led to marketing-led into a world today that is buyer-led. We might not like it but we have to deal with it.

Fortunately, we've been in the thick of this change, learning how to grow our companies despite the changes and now we're implementing what works best today for clients in our target market. Tomorrow will be different again but we'll adapt once more to ensure we deliver the leads our clients need to ensure their growth
